Dear Gurus,
Gurus I formed a inquiry with reference to that I formed a quotation also with reference to the same I formed a sales order but the query is that it is taking the current date as delivery date even though we have 7 dates as lead time in sales doucment controls in VOV8,could you pls locate how it is able to take current date as delivery date, i diagnoise it may be due to copy control setting of sales order to sales order reference VTAA = QT TO OR in schedule line but not able to locate exactly, looking forward for your help.
Regards,
Arun.
Dear Arun,
Could you please update with:
T. Code: VOV8
Select your Sales Doc. type and go in to details.
Under Tab: Requested Delivery date/ pricing date/purchase Order date --> Check Box: Propose Delivery Date
Please check whether the Box is checked or not..?
If its checked, Indicates whether the system automatically proposes the current date as the delivery date.
Best Regards,
Amit

Hi Arun...your observation is correct.
Since you are copying the QT to your OR, so logically also all the conditions that are there in the quote should be copied in the OR. So in quote you have a Requested delivery date of today and that itself gets copied into the OR. It neglects the Lead time that you maintain in VOV8 for OR.
To prevent this, goto the copy control of QT to OR. In the header data transfer routine, copy the standard and create a new one. In the new routine, just prevent copying of VBAK-VDATU to the target document. it is easy and would just take commenting some lines of code. ASk an ABAP'er to do it.
Thanks
