REG: The File Adaptaer

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I need to extract source directory in the mapping ,

( ie In my scenario I need to poll file from different source directories and want to know from which

directory did my channel pick up the file).

If there is any User Defined function present for such kind of requirment, please let me know.

Thanks in Advance

Siva.

    Hi,

    Use Adapter Specific message attribute and have alook at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2664

    the code will be as given in the blog

    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);

    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");

    String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);

    return  ourSourceFileName;

    Thanks!

    use dynamic configuration and with the use of Adapter specific properties you can extract the source directory.
