hi,

Its issue regarding Requirement of separate number range for SD, MM and

FI documents based on Plant or Branch number. u2013 Number ranges required

for each plant (SD, MM). Similarly, in FI separate number ranges

required for each area sales office (ASO).

In FI view:

No.range are company code level,not plant level. You can create separate number ranges for separate documents and also separate company codes.You can also create separate number ranges,if your business maintain each plant as legal enitity.

But it is bit difficult to use....You can create separate document types for each business area and plant under one legal entity and also create validition as below mentioned and assign differebt number ranges.

If xx yy zz DOCUMENT TYPES only for AAAA bsuiness area.So that system wouldn't accept any online transactions.

If you want seperate number ranges for plant, branch etc. you have to create seperate document types for each. Then only u can able to maintain seperate number ranges.

No ranges are under document types.
