Assign a Mvt type to a delivery

Hi friends,

We create a new MVT TYPE 801.

It's possible to affect this mvt type to a DELIVERY TYPE or to the ITEM CATEGORY.

What 's the T-code?

Please if you have another idea?

Dear Bakkali Omar

- All movement types will have to be created by copying the standard from OMJJ

- This newly created movement type should be assigned to your schedule line category in VOV6

- The schedule line category should be assigned to your item category in VOV5

- The item category should be assigned to your sale order type in VOV4

This is how in SD, the movement type will have a link to SD documents.

Dear Men,

With Item cat is quite easy to assign new Mvt type but not sure if delivery order doesn't refer to the SO so as I understand, thread owner concerned about how to config for delivery order get new Mvt type automatically not from SAP std (601). I am concerning about this as well. Is there anyone have other ideas?

If you are trying to use this MVT for inbound deliveries that are not created w.r.t a sales order, then you have to assign this to the Delivery item category in TCode 0(zero)VLP .

The Movement type you have created with OMJJ transaction Can be Assigned to the Schedule Line category:

VOV6

The Schedule Line category controls the goods movement in SAD SD

Dear Omar,

You must have created new MVT Type 801 in T. Code: OMJJ

An Excerpt:

In SD, Movement Type is used for Goods Issue or Goods Reciept. You can see the movement type in Delivery --> Goods Movement Data.

The movement type is assigned to the schedule line category and schedule line category is assigned to the item category - T. Code: VOV5. So when you create a sales order, the movement type is picked up based on the item category.

Movement types are assigned to Schedule line types in T. Code: VOV6.

Thus based on the schedule line the movement type is triggered during Goods Issue.The movement type in transaction can be seen in Delivery document in "Goods Movement data" tab of the document for the selected item.

Hi,

Have you configured the details in transaction code OMJJ, for example assigning allowed transactions for this movement type?

The other place where you can use is schedule line category. For example in standard schedule line category CP the movement type assigned is 601.
