How to pass a custom internal table as a table in Remote enabled FM

Hi ,

I have to create a RFC enabled function module and it has to return a table. This table has to be of the format of a type defined in the TOP include . Right now when I try it ... it is only accepting data dictionary structures and not types defined in the program , how can this be achieved

Thanks

    In RFC interface tables ; define as

    tt_test type CFX_BI_API_TT_STRING (length of 255).

    In the source code, say your types declared internal table is it_type.

    it_type[] = tt_test[].

    This will work my freind.

    Thanks,

    Aditya. V

    1. Creat a table type of type string.. say ZST.

    2. In RFC interface set the table type to ZST.

    3. When you get data ... move the table data into the types declared table defined in TOP include.

    Thanks,

    You need to create a structure in SE11 of the similar type to internal table. you cannot do without that.
