You have to make some settings in SPRO:

Financial Accounting / Asset Accounting / Asset Data Transfer /

You have / can do the following setting:

Set Company Code Status Status 2 (or 1)

      Specify Sequence of Depreciation Areas

Specify Transfer Date/Last Closed Fiscal Year requered

Specify Last Period Posted in Prv.System (Transf.During FY) optional

      part options Options

For the upload you are using AS91 /AS94 this don't create postings! The balance values in FI you create with OASV or ABF1

      UPLOADING THE ASSETS

In the most cases LSMW with recording is used, it is possible not to use a recording but assign an ABAP (RAALTD01, RAALTD**) or an BAPI or an Idoc.

The program RAALTD01 you can use to without the LSMW.

When it is only some assets you key them in manual
