Change Unit of Packing

My client uses one material for that there is a Packing Material "CANE".

In material master 10L one = 1 CANE is defined

So,for example whenever they got order for 12L, 2 CANE are assigned to it automatically. and for 30L, 3 CANE are assigned.

But for specific customer wants only 8L to be filled in one CANE so they want that whenever a order comes from that customer, it has to take quantity as 8L = 1 CANE.

I can not give in Material Master 8L = 1 CANE as already 10 L = 1 CANE is already there in alternate unit

How to incorporate it.

Please suggest.

if this a bom item go for variable size item category. and in production order if at all there is a specific this can be altered from 10l to 8l

CANE is not BOM item that is maintened in alternate unit of measure only
