Mandatory of delivering plant

Hi,

How can I make the field(RV45A-DWERK) "delivering plant" mandatory at the

time of sale order creation(VA01) and same should be copy for all the Line items

for whole sale order.

Hi,

You can do this in transaction varient SHD0,

for both header and and item the plant can be made mandatory, but the same plant cannot be defined for all the item. it is not pe r the logic. to get same plant you have maintain all the materials in customer delivering plant so that you will find the header plant as item plant

Dear Shukla

As you would be aware you can make the delivering plant to flow automatically in sale order, provided if you have maintained in the following chronological order.

- Customer Material Info Record (TCode VD51)

- Customer Master (TCode XD02)

- Material Master (TCode MM03)

The priority will be given in the above sequence and hence, if you maintain the delivering plant in VD51 / VD52, system will propose automatically.

We want that without maintaining any master (MM01/XD01/VD51) if user enter the delivering in header level same should be copy for all line items, can it is possible.

Plant will never get determined in the overview screen

You have to go by the option by Mr. Hrishikesk suggested with SHD0

In incompletion log also that table and field is not there in standard

It requires development

What Mr.Lakshmipathi has suggested is for item level only

CMIR first,CMR then and then MMR

At overview level it doesnt get determined automatically because a sales order can have many items which is delivered from different plants

You want to restrict or make it mandatory means the idea by Hrishi is the best

Dear SP,

If you maintain in Customer and material ,,,System will pick this filed by default in Sales order....

Even if you want to make a manadatory filed .....you just add this field in Incompletion log....and make a Required fields....

W/o maintaining this field System will not allow to Save..

Hi,

Try this with SHD0 wherein you'll have to make the RV45A-DWERK field as Required which will solve your purpose.
