Problem in Collaboration Detailed Navigation iview -- Layout

Hi all,

I created the inner page layout in that I put 3 container

Collaboration Detailed Navigation

Detailed Navigation

Content Area.

I have designed the layout. Its working fine.

But my problem is if the user clicks the room in Room Directory iView the Collaboration Detailed Navigation display and also the Detailed Navigation iview display in the left side.

But in default the Collaboartion Detailed Navigation displays at the time Detailed Navigation iview disappear automatically. Where the work around take place? How to implement that work around in my custom layout component. Is it possible to achieve. How to do that?

Helpful answer and will be appreciated .....

Thanks& Regards

Thillai J

    Hi,

this is just a guess. I have written some code that can remove an iview from a page during runtime.

I would expect that the standard page framework does the same. If a collaboration room is called, the detailed navigation iview is made invisible. To do that, the code must know the id of the iview cotainer on in the page layout. So maybe you should check the ids of your containers in your template. The navigation panel in your layout should have the same id as in the standard layout.

    Cheers Frank
