how can we search the Batches based on GR date.....????

Which characteristic should we use ????

Hi,

Create the characterstic with Table name : MCH1 and Field Name : LWEDT.

this will solve your purpose.

Hi,

Follow the steps:

1.Field---VFDAT adn table-MCHA should be created as a charecter in CT04signed to a class in CL02N.

2.create MM01 and add the class to it in classification view.

3.In mm01 plt storage1 view give data for remainning shelf life and total shelf life and in purchasing view activate batch management.

4.OMJ5- activate SLED for your plant and mvt type 201.

5.opj2- set BD for your plant.

6.create sort sequence in cu70 and assign your charecteristic value to it.

7.create batch serch strategy in MBC1 for access sequence(plt/matrl/mvt typ) create a condition record.

8.Do a GR using 501 and enter SLED related details.(production date and exp date values)

Repeat the above step and enter diffrent values for SLED details.

So now two batches are created with SLED as the charecteristic.

9.Do a GI using 201 mvt tye in MB1A and enter * in batch field(system will determine the batch using the SLED value basedon the criteria(ascending or descending which was set in the sort rule.)

You can make use of MCHA table and you find the field

LWEDT-- date of last Gr there.

In STD search help for batches we will not have the GR date.

Make sure SLED check is activated in ur system.

Create a serach help for the same and include it.

In se12 select MCH1 search help and append a search help which has thr GR date(LWEDT) as one of the characteristics.

It worked for me.

You need to create batch search strategy for your matrial in MBC1. This search procedure is assigned to your REM profile.

Go to CU70 and create sort sequence and then go to MBC1 and maintain statergy for your batch type and assign your sort sequence here...

Follw the following Step.

Please create new batch search strategr for your requirement,

SPROLogistics - General-Batch ManagementBatch Determination and Batch CheckStrategy Types--Define Inventory Management Strategy Types.

Choose the key combination-

Enter the required date-->say plant ,production order type, product, valid from and component for which you want to have this

Choose Selection criteria push button

If no values have been entered, enter the selection class and the characteristic values.

Go back to the screen on which you create a batch search strategy.

Choose Sort if required(it should be defined earlier(in CO70- here you are giving the characteristic name on which you want to sort)

Choose a sort sequence.

The strategy type includes, among others, the following control elements:

Selection criteria

Sort rule

Quantity proposal

System will find out the batch or of you don't want the batch automatic strategy for this movement then you have to remove from the config for thi mtype.

Then try doing the batch determination.
