Hi,
I have an issue with the document template using the new WebUI Feature (CRM 2007 SP2).
I already checked a couple of threads, but somehow I did not find the solution for my issue.
I created a Web Service linked to the object GDCOIC, when testing my webservice I get the message "Fehler beim Holen der URL der Web.Serv,-Testseite". Somehow the Testpage URL can not be loaded. The WSDL shows "about:blank".
When creating a document template with this web-service and pressing the WSDL button again, I get an IFC_ERROR. I already checked note 517484, but all the SICF-services are activated.
The document template I created using this new feature is visable in the SAP GUI Opportunity, but not in the WEB UI Opportunity...
Can anybody please give me a hint how to solve this issue.
Thanks
Nanda
Did you activate all services under /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/* ?
If not, do so. SAP delivers a list of necessary services. However more than that should be activated.
Descriptions of webservices are not clear enough to enable the one you think you need.

I'm testing in the DEV system, with word documents (pdf is not working, because ActiveX is not actived for our server).
Although I still get the error message when creating templates, now at least my newly created template is visable in the opportunity.
When I select the template in the opportunity, I get a new error message "Fehler beim Holen der WS-Payload für xxx; Simple Transformation misslungen". This error most likely occurs because of the first error....
1. Yes, my Web Service is active and productive.
2. When I create the template (Word) and select xml I get the strange message when selecting the template in the opportunity. When creating a word template and select only text, I can select the template without receiving an error in the oppportunity.
When creating a template you can select the webservice and also an Objecttype.
What objecttype did you select?
Try GDCOI, create if it doesn't exist.
And did you create more than 1 webservice? Is the template still pointing to an existing webservice?

Hi,
I'm definitly running from one error into an other. For testreasons I assigned the profile also to an other transaction type. Here the templates are displayed, but the templates are no longer available for the opportunity.
I created a own object type (so no direct link to a business object) and assigned this new object type in customizing to my opportunity (and later on also to a sales order).
Then I created,a new web-service which is linked to the business object GDCOIC (activated and productive).
So actually I have 3 errors:
1. URL Error (ICF_ERROR) when creating the template.
2. When trying to use the template, Word template - xml, I receive an error message
3. The created templates are no longer available for the opportunity, although the customizing is the same for the sales order.

Nanda
Please check the following service in transaction SICF.
/default_host/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/*
Are those services active?
The object type you created, what's the name?
I took days to find out that i had to use the exact name GDCOI instead of ZTEST.
However, this was not for an opportunity, so maybe this is different.
These services where not activated, thanks!
I just heard that we will get a new CRM 7.0 for the project and only the prototyp will be on CRM 2007.
So for the prototyp I can display my folder structure and templates at least for the business object sales order.
For the opportunity I will create templates for the standard object type BUS2000111.
Thank you very much for your support and I hope that this feature is easier to use in CRM 7.0
Prettige kerstdagen!
