Item Cost Upload through DTW

Dear All

While uploading Item Master Data through DTW, I entered Item Cost in 'Moving Average Price' field in the template and valuation method is Standard. It shows imported successfully, but when I check the Item Cost in Item Master Data in SBO, it shows '0'.

Also, I attached 'Item Warehouse' with 'Items' template in DTW, and entered Item Cost for all

Warehouses in the template, it shows updated sucessfully and in SBO, Item Cost in all warehouses was updated while Item Cost field of that particular item is still showing '0'. We are using SBO 2005 A PL_41 and same error is appearing in SBO 2007 A PL_30.

Thanks for your kind reply.

Actually, my querry is when I uploaded Item Master Data with ItemWarehouseInfo template, system uploaded Item Cost in all Warehouses of each item but It is not showing any cost in the Master Data window in the field 'Item Cost' just beneath 'Valuation Method' field.

As per your suggestion to use MaterialRevaluation template, in that template WhsCode has to be mentioned and in my case, Item Cost in each WHS has already been uploaded, so I think this template is not useful then.

Because you said: Item Cost in all warehouses was updated while Item Cost field of that particular item is still showing '0'., I believe the cost is still 0 in warehouse. That is why I have my suggestion.

Dear Nabeel,

This is not error but system design. Item cost in standard valuation method has to use MaterialRevaluation to DTW the cost.
