Hi,

I want to know, can we reflect the reservation for a perticular material in the purchase order for that material.Means when i see the PO for that material ,i should have to see the corresponding reservation for the same.

HI,

u enhance the requirement..

basically there is no link between reservation and PO.. but for ur business requirment

may b tracking number field in the PO can b used.maintain the reservation number in the tracking fields of the PO

with the help of customer exit/BAdi.. validate the same.

There is not any direct linkage between PO and reservations as the relationship is many-to-one (i.e. one PO line item is a combination of several reservations). Yet, for verification purpose, end users can be able to check in MD04 transaction (stock/requirements list) where it is feasible to get a due understanding of why PO was generated.

Hi Manish,

In ME21n-Environment-Material Stocks-Now the MMBE screen appear.Here you can see the reservaed quanity of the material.

If you see the reservation details, in the same screen-environment-reservations-now the list of reservations appear-double click on the reservation you want to see.

What u said i had tried it before,but i said i want to disply/reflect directly the reservation no.etc.in po so i should have to get a crystal clear requirement of material.

Hi,

The list of reservations based on materials will be given by using t-code : MB25

Hi,

What u suggest that is correct but,i had asked about the reflection of the reservations in po,so that when a user going to make a purchse order for a material,he knows that the how much requirement will be for material.Means if i create the reservation for future date,the po should have to reflect the reservation sothat ,a user/purchase dept. should know that how much to purchase

Hi,

You can control the material procurement based on the planning file entry.

I.e. You can plan based on the reservation,as it is a form of requirement and it will be considered for planning if a shortage exists for your material.
