Assignment field

Dear All,

we are in up grade from 4.7 to ECC - 6

my Question ?

in 4.7 system

when i done the MIRO transaction the PO No. & Item NO. is automatically up dated in the Assignment field of GR/IR account. ( in GR/IR account we matain the sort key 001 - Posting date)

in ECC -6

this Assignment field is not up dated automatically. (in GR/IR account we matain the sort key 001 - Posting date)

if i am using the Sort key 014 it's coming proparly. but my clint don't want to change the sort key why because in 4.7 they are using Sort key 001 and they got the PO No. in that field.

please give me the input if any other options for this issue. (other than sort key)

this note is related to Population of the Assignment field.

my ? is partaning to proper population of the field but not for not populating.

Dear Friend,

Please check for any substitution they have given in 4.7 on asignment field through user exit.You have to carry that in ECC 6.

there is no user exit or no subsitution. please any other alternative.

Then you try to give this through substitution.Transaction code is GGB1.
