Job gets executed by event which is never fired from any of regular BW proc

Hi,

A job is getting triggered from an event - ZAPO_SEND_EMAIL_SFB_ODS_FAIL

But, this event is never fired from any of the regular BW processes.

We don't have any SFB Loads too.

This is happening 4-5 times since last 2 weeks and in Production system.

The job just gets triggered from no where and the message goes to all users indicating the load has failed , but in the real sense there was no failure of the load, infact there was no load started at all.

Please help & suggest.

Thanks & Regards,

Sameer

ZAPO_SEND_EMAIL_SFB_ODS_FAIL sounds like another job... so just look for it check whats on it and remove it if necesary.... one thing is for sure this is not a standard SAP job 😉

    Regards

    Juan

      Hi Juan,

I have checked in our BW Production system.

There is no ZAPO_SEND_EMAIL_SFB_ODS_FAIL job which has been scheduled. This is an event which triggers the BGD job - SEND_MAIL_SFB_ODS_FAIL

SEND_MAIL_SFB_ODS_FAIL, I guess is standard SAP job.

The event triggers this job automatically.

      Please suggest

      Thanks and Regards,

      Sameer
