Cost Analysis Differences - IW39 Vs MCI8

Dear Friends

When I analyse the Total Actual Cost using IW39 for all the orders [ even by Equipments specific] I see a difference Total actual cost obtained under MCI8. Could you please let me know why this differences are observed and any specific reasons to the same?

There may be inconsistencies with the MCI8 data. Try the following:

TCode OLI5: correct value category errors (program RIPMCO00)

TCode OLPM: re-build structures (program RIPMS001)

Pls make sure you choose the same Period for both the reports.

in MCI8 the report is based on the period whereas in IW39 the report is based on orders.if your order has been posted in different period then this will occur, system will distribute the amount in the respective periods

In this case, am using the same Period for analysis during both IW39 and MCI8..But still facing the conflicts. Please help me out in analysing the issue.
