Hi Gurus
Currently My system is backflushing all the components when i partially confirm the operation through Co11n T-code, which i dont want. I want the backflushing should happen only after the final confirmation of the operation.
Is there any configuration change required to stop the backflushing only during partial confirmation.
Thanks in advance,
Quantum.
Hi
In SAP U can do backflush in 3 ways
Indicator: Backflush
Determines whether the backflush indicator is set in the production order. Here, a 3-level hierarchical logic is applied:
1. In the routing, the backflush indicator is set in the component assignment.
2. In the material master record, the backflush indicator has the characteristic "Always backflush".
3. In the material master record, the backflush indicator has the characteristic "Work center decides",
the indicator being set in the work center.
If at all u dont want to Backflush at the time of Confirmation in CO11N, partial confirmation , dont set any backflush indicator in any level, u can go for Manual Goobs issue Using MB1A, So that u can confirm Goods issue , and final component u can confim By setting Auto goods recipt with the help of Control Key for the last operation in routing.
i Hope this will help.

Hi,
There is only 2 options..
1. Maintain only 1 milestone operation i.e last opeartion so that at the time of confirmation of the last operation, component backflush will happen.
2. if you have more than 1 milestone then, assign all the component to the last Operation so that backflush will happen at last Milestone.

Siva
Hi Siva
Good options.
Let me put those as last preference at this point.
Actually we are using BAPI's to do the partial confirmation of the order. While doing partial confirmation goods movement should not happen. Final confirmation would be done manually by the users at this point back flush should happen.
Please suggest.
Thanks
Quantum.
Hi,
You should check the routing maintenance, whether the components have correctly been assigned to the relevant operations in the routings? Then try CO11N again!
Good luck

Thanks for your immediate reply. i have asigned everything properly and backflushing is happening for the upper level materials. But i need to stop backflushing only when partial confirmation is happening. So backflushing should happen only when final confirmation is done.
Thanks,
Quantum.
