Technical Name and Description as default in Variable

Hello All,

Whenever I open a workbook via the BEX analyzer 7.1 I am prompted with the variables dialog box.

Each value for a variable can be displayed in various combinations of 2 options, Technical Name and Description.

My question is u2013

Is it possible to define one of these combinations as the default display on a specific user level?

In addition, I would like to do the same in the list that appears when clicking the Select from List button for one of the variable fields.

Thanks ,

Valentin

    Hi,

Use "personalize variable values" from variable prompt dialog box to define the default display.

    Thanks,

    Ashok

      Hi Ashok,

      Thanks for reply .

Personalize variable values" from variable prompt dialog box - it is good solution per specific user.

But I am looking for generic solution per report/ variable for all users.

      Thanks

      Valentin
