What is Cost Center Hierarchy? How to use this functionality.

Cost centre hierarchy will be assigned to Controlling Area(OKKP). Generally if you copy controlling area, then by default cost centre heirarchy also will be copied for the controlling area, afterwards u can change it.

Under that cost centre heirarchy, u have to assign the cost centres and cost centre groups.

Isn't OKKP table and Controlling from SAP R3? I want to know what is the Cost Centre Hierarchy in SAP B1 and how to use this functionality.

Hi,

In either SAP product, cost centre hierarchy is a mandatory object which has to be defined in the controlling area and all the cost centres must be assigned to it.

It is group divide with respect of geogarphicl wise,divison wise, region wise.
