Serial numbers

Hi experts,

I want to user serial numbers in the returnable pckaging scenarion and i am using serial number profile as 0002(serial numbers i SD). I am giving this retunable material in only delivery. But when i am taking the delivery returns, the system is not checking the serial numbers which i used while delivery creation. The system is also picking th serial number in already in the unrestrited stock, rather than the customer stock.

Please let me know the serial number scenario. As i am using cylinders, which used to come back from the customers ( this is not given as customer consignment).

Dear Gaurav,

Go to OIS2 transaction select Serial profile 0002 -Serial profile in SD then click on Serializing procedures here procedure SDRE-Maintain returns delivery is maintained or not.

Make sure that you are using sales document type LA for returable packaging pickup
