Cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them.

I cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them. When Iam in transaction: SE09, I am able to see all the released objects, and the check marks next to each one which looks good...Where are these files? Under usr/sap/trans, they show up under logs with nothing in them except log data...Not in Cofiles & datafiles either.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Alan

Dear Alan,

Are you sure the transport routes are properly configured? When you create the transport request, did you enter (should automatically detect from transport route) the target system in the "Target" field in SE09 ? If no target system is mentioned, it will not come in the buffer of the transport queue in quality.

Did you check if the cofiles and datafiles are getting generated under usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles

Hello Jazz!

Our developer released them, and I will get more details from him. We can see them when in SE09/10. Just cannot see them in the import queue? Also can't find the files under: usr/sap/trans, except the logs???

We just want to find these files, and either zip them up, or put them on a CD for later use, and this project will wind down soon.

Any other suggestions on how we can find these files, as all exports normally show up in usr/sap/trans/data, and cofiles...but not in this case???.

Thanks Again,

Alan

Either there is problem with the transport system configuration or the developers saved it as local objects.

Since you said you can find them in SE09/10, then it will not be a local object. Did you try creating a new request and release it? Did you make sure the sub task and the main task is released?

As discussed, create a new request, and assign the proper target system and try releasing and see if cofiles and datafiles are getting generated or not.

Jazz

Hi Manu!

Thanks...Yes this was a local transport/work bench request, about 15 "Z" objects...All tick marked, and show up when you are in: SE09....I cannot find these files anywhere, except the logs that show up in usr/sap/trans/logs?? We tried a few more test packages which do not show up either.

Yes this happened for the Ist time.

Alan
