Hello All,
what are the pricing possibilites to map for below case:
a laptop company is tied up with online distributors (like best buy example) company sells the a laptop to the distributor for 1000 $. the best buy could only sell the laptop for customer expected price say 750 $. so now how can best buy supported by the laptop company for support price.
I thought of already rebates... but i am still not satisfied so let me know any other solutions to this scenario?
Mahesh
Look into "Chargebacks" with Vistex software. It is an SAP namespace

hi sirnath,
thanks for your reply,
could you give me with an example how i can use contracts or scheduling agreements for below my example:
a laptop company is tied up with online distributors (like best buy example) company sells the a laptop to the distributor for 1000 $. the best buy could only sell the laptop for customer expected price say 750 $. so now how can best buy supported by the laptop company for support price.
in my example distributor is my customer and i am completing the sales cycle with him, then i am finding this support cost for company and distributor issue.
Hi Mahesh,
You could use the Claim request functionality of Vistex solution, here is how it works..
Laptop company sells the laptop for $1000(List Price) for the distributor, Distributor sells it to the end customer for $750(Customer expected price), If there is an agreement between the Company & the Distributor, then Distributor can create a claim request for $250(List Price - Customer Expected Price) with the laptop company and will be able to settle the difference.
Regards
Ashok
