Integrated Planning : Authorization.

Hi,

Situation:

Planning cube consist of "Product, HWpart, Price"

Product is authorization relavant.

1 Product can have many HW parts.

1 HW part can be there in many Products.

We are simulating the price for HW part, so that we know, how it affects Product.

Problem:

We could not have single value authorization on Products, it requires mandatory colon ( authorization, for executing any planning function.

Resolution:

Is the above problem, a bug? or could we handle in other way?

Requirement:

if the price of one "HW part" is updated, it should affect (update) all the product packgae, which has that "HW part". However, only if he is authorised.

If the same "HW part" is there in Product package, for which the user is not authorised, it should not be updated.

Those Product package ar enot shown to the user, however, the planning functions update those aswell.

(we are using selection binding on "HW part")
