Which is the Tax procedure being used?

IMG >> Logistic General >> Tax on Goods Movement >> India >> Basic Function >> Determination of Excise Duty >> Select Tax Calculation procedure

Based on your query, it looks like TAXINJ is maintained, as Tax Code governs Tax Rate in TAXINJ.

If it would be TAXINN, it would be condition based and based on condition record the % would be picked.

To check why amount is not calculated, you will have to check the Pricing Procedure through Transaction Code: V/08. There might be some mistake in calculations steps, which may be required to be corrected.

    • Dear Friend,

Have you maintained Condition Records for each state?

Also if you your Goods are moving from Gujarat to other states then system should calculate CST & not VAT.

Also if you have storage locations or Depots in each state and Goods dispatch & receiving (Customer) state are same only then VAT should come. This would be possible only if you have maintained Condition records for each state.

      Hope this helps...

      Thanks,
