Insert more queries in a BEx Analyzer Workbook

Hi to everybody,

I have a question about the insert of new queries in a Bex (7.0) workbook. I have 4-5 queries and I want to insert each of them in a single sheet. How can I do this in a simple way manteining the standard format with the chart, info and filter buttons?

It's necessary replicated manually in every sheet after the first one the buttons' structure and the other parts of the page like chart, query and texts?

Thank you for your replies, bye

Hi Gabriele,

What you should do is, first execute 1 query and then from the start menu choose save it as a workbook. In the saved workbook you have an option of insert queries if its 3.x, choose that follow the steps it will prompt to.

For 7.1, you first execute and save your report as a workbook.Insert a new worksheet in that workbook , use the design tool box and insert new analysis grid and navigation panes etc in the new sheet. In the design mode go to analysis grid and navigation pane.

Right click -

>propeties.

Here you have option to create new data provider(create button) create a new one say DP_2 and assign your second query to this. Assign dataproviders(your query or view) for the same. Save workbook.

Make sure you have the same selection variables for all the queries you want to insert in the workbook.

Hello,

is there a possibility to use the "standard SAP workbook" as layout for the inserted worksheet in the workbook? If you have to insert each item (analysis, table, filter) separately this is kinf of extensive. In Version 3.x there was the possibility of inserting a query in a worksheet, without defining any data providers and changing the layout.

Thanks for the information,

regards
