kernel and spam

Hi,

Our system details are ECC6.0 HPUX/oracle, our present kernel version is 144 and SPAM version is 7.00/26, when i checked in service.sap.com in the support stack the latest kernel version specified is

SAPEXE_175-20000982.SAR;Kernel Part I

SAPEXEDB_175-20000983.SAR;Kernel Part II

Can any one help me what latest kernel verion and SPAM version should i consider and

the procedure for upgrading the kernel is same as applying in the windows.

always use the latest.

in the DB independant section: SAPEXE_175-20001370.SAR

in the Oracle section: SAPEXEDB_179-20001376.SAR

for SPAM: SAPKD70033

Thanks for the reply. What is the procedure to apply the kernel under unix version, i have applied under windows version, but no idea of how to apply in unix version. please help.

Check note 19466 - Download of SAP Kernel Patches

This note also contains a section how to install the patches.

Don´t forget to exeucte "./saproot.sh " in the kernel directory after the extracted patches are copied.
