qusetion on NAST-ANZAL

Hello Experts,

I am printing the output for a GR (material document ) and it should print the number of labels based on the number of line items , for suppose if the PO is having 3 line items it should print 3 labels but with a different PO item number.

I had passed nast-anzal as 3 but its printing 10 lables. Please suggest how to print only 3 labels.

thanks,

RG

Hi Ramya: did you choose the collettive or the single slip print?

Because the single slip already print a copy for each item and if you put 3, it will print 3 copies for each item.

Here or here and here some hints.

Search the archive and the help and you'll find plenty of results!

    Hi Simone,

    Thanks for your reply.

I had searched in SCN and I found that based on parameters like NO_OPEN NO_CLOSE in the control parameters we can generate in a single spool.

when the pass is first NO_OPEN = space and NO_CLOSE = 'X' and in the middle passes NO_OPEN = space and NO_CLOSE = space and in the last pass of print NO_OPEN = 'X' and NO_CLOSE = space.

Could you please suggest what is meant by collective and single print and how does TD_NEWID work in the control paramerters.

    Thanks,

    Rg

ANZAL is number of copies, so, naturally, you'll get 3 copies for each line = 9 and I don't know where the 10th might be coming from (header?). Did you look at the values in the output and tried to analyze the possible causes? Did you try changing 3 to 1? This has nothing to do with the parameters you've mentioned.

I agree with Simone that this has been discussed many times already on SCN.
