Backflush & Auto GR for Serialized Materials

Dear Expert,

Can you tell me possibility of Back flushing for Serialize Materials & Automatic Good Receipt (GR) for serialized Materials in Discrete Manufacturing?

If possible pls tell me solution for this.

Dear Dev,

Backflushing of Serialized components is not possible because standard SAP system doesn't allow backflushing of materials which are assigned serial numbers.

Further, you can have Auto GR setting in Production Schedulling profile in OPKP.

You need to assign the same profile in Work Scheduling view in Material Master.

Hi Tejas,

Thank you for reply but it's not working. but i have one question.In Serial Profile if we do GR & GI optional to enter serial number & add field of serial number in CO11N Transaction. is this possible to add such field. i think then we can enter serial number in that field in Tcode:CO11N, this will resolve our purpose of Auto GR. pls tell me for this.

hi

you can create serial numbers at the time of order creation or release by changing setting in serial number profile.

In this regard you will get serial numbers for a specific production order
