Crystal Reports - Framework conditional formatting

Hi Experts,

I am currently investigating a way to manage the conditional formatting in my report. As per requirement below, I am listing down a set of accounts but they can have a different conditional formatting applied. This can depend on the account but also in which column it is being used.

Conditional formatting options:

Normal: < 0 equals crRed, > 0 equals crGreen, = 0 equals crBlack
Reversed: > 0 equals crGreen, < 0 equals crRed, = 0 equals crBlack
No Condition = crBlack

Requirement Visualized:

Row Column1 Column2 Column3 Column4 Account1 15 (black) 15 (Green) 15 (Red) 15 (Red) Account2 -15 (black) -15 (Red) -15 (Green) -15 (Green) Account3 30(black) 30 (Green) 30 (Red) 30 (Red) Account4 -100(black) -100 (Red) -100 (Green) -100 (Red) Account5 -200(black) -200 (Red) -200 (Green) -200 (Green)

Is there an efficient way to manage this properly without creating a lot of conditions in each field used in the detail section. Taking into account that the logic could be extended when new accounts come available.

Appreciate your support.

Hi Michel,

The 'visualization' hasn't displayed quite well.

Could you add a screenshot or a table please?
