Vendor: number range and account group assignment dilemma.

Hello,

for vendor, i have a number range

1000000000 to 1999999999 assigned to my account group GRP1. The current number is 1000000990.

The checkbox external number range is empty.

I need to create a vendor 1000085252 assigned to the account group GRP1.

However , after creating the vendor 1000085252, i need to be able to continue creating vendors from the number 1000000990 , ie , the current number should not be lost.

as my knowledge is concerned we can use either internal no range or external no range for an account group, and assign that to ur vendor while creating vendors...

please check that....

that's ok, but how can i create a vendor by specifying the number while it is set as internal number range.

Hi,

You change the curent number to prior number of your requirement than create the vendor than system will sugest your number.After that you can change to previous curent number.
