Activate Two factor Authentication without SAP SSO

We company want active two factor of authenticatin for SAP GUI without setting SAP SSO, we have no budget to buy licenses,

Hi Erika,

unfortunately, I'm afraid there is no free solution to enable Two Factor authentication for SAP GUI. And I'm pretty sure that if you design some workarounds (not sure if possible) in long term it will you cost more.

As an alternative I could offer you a SAML authentication with some cloud provider - then you can enable 2FA. However, it's only suitable for web-based applications and not SAP GUI.
