Hi

Yes, your requirement is possible using screen variant

1. use tcode SHD0

2. give transaction as MM01

3. goto screen variant tab - assign some name - enter program name and screen name

(from mm01 - F1 help)

4. goto transaction variant tab - assign some name - assign already defined screen variant name

5. goto standad variant tab - transaction variant name already fetched automatically - click on active button (it was placed after transaction variant name

here u can default it

If that is the case then How you will enter Industry sector and Material Type..

If you want you can hide Industry sector in MM01 trxn..

Defaults > industry Sector > Hide industry Sector

Goto MM01 and then from the pull down menu select Defaults--Industry sector and hide the industry sector.

try this-enter MM01->enter the data u wnt to defauly-->go to the default at header and choose whatever u feel to and save->then again reenter in mm01 and check

Hello Raju,

This can be achived only with the help of a BASIS person as per my knowldge.

Ask him to give only the display authorization (for those fields) for the user(s) for whom you need the industry sector and material type as display.

Before doing that, default the industry sector (default- industry sector) nad material type.

Make sure that, the user has the t.code authorization, but not for indstry sector field and material type field.

Ill try to get u the authorization objects.
