Delta load after a system copy

Hello,

I have a doubt regarding the behaviour of delta load after a system copy. Assume that we have done a system copy from BW production into BW test. Let us say we do a system copy from R/3 prod to R/3 test say after 1 month.(R/3 prod is the source system for BW prod and R/3 test for BW test).

Now, if we assume that everything is in sync, R/3 test contains extra data of 1 month as compared to the BW test. If we run a delta load(from R/3 test to BW test), what would happen?

Can we load the exact delta of this 1 month into the BW test system? How can we control this? Should we control this at the infopackage level by giving a data selection date range of this 1 month? Please let me know some important tables which control the delta load.

Regards,

svr

    Hi SVR,

The data is history data or present data records ?

If its present data then u will get u r delata from r3 test to bw test..but..u shld also run delat in r3 prod to bw prod.. to be sychronized

If its historical data :- run setuptable do a full repain in both test and production boxes and get the required data

    Thanks & Regards,
