Hi SRM Experts,
Please have a look on the scenario described below.
In Extended Classic Scenario,as we know that the leading PO is in SRM.The PO can only be changed in SRM.
Once the PO replicates to the back end, we can post GR and Invoice in the backend. But we can not change the PO line items in the backend.
My question here is: Can we change the PO in the back end, which is replicated from the SRM in Extended Classic Scenario? This is against the SAP logic.
If you have ever tried this scenario before by implemeting BADI, or by any other method please let me know as soon as possible.
Points will be generously awarded.
In the extended classic it is not possible to change the PO in ECC. Because here PO leading DOc in the SRSM.

Hi,
Basically you cannot change PO's transferred from SRM to Backend, but you can change status flag in table ekko like this:
Table EKKO
statu = 9 - Open PO for editing (i.e. ME22N)
statu = K - Close PO for editing
Changes in PO from backend side doesn't transfer back to SRM.

Marcin

Hi Debu,
To answer to your question:
Yes, we can change the SRM PO in ECC!
But, not over the conventional ME22N. You can change the Header & Item fields over mass change transaction "MASSD". This includes all POs, even the POs created in SRM.
But the Flip side is, those changes will not be reflected in SRM & as such may result in in-consistent data (for reports in particular).
Cheers,
Akash
