Month End activity- Ensurance for flow completion.

Dear Gurus,

Is there any procedure/T-codes or Methodology by which we can ensure that all document related to MM, SD, PP & Payroll have been entered in system ?

Actually which areas of above modules have to check to ensure before closure of Month end?

Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,

This is related to your day to day activity. In SAP you have to close all the activity (entry) in current month to close in current month. If you have not closed then you will get the message for entery period is locked.

There is no spcific document for this. This is for company to company policy to maintain month end acitivity.

    Hi Parag,

There is no stadard transaction which tell that all the documents are posted.

It is the business requirement to close to the related documents are closed in the month before closeing Monthend.

For example : for PP if the reqt of the business is all the open order to be closed by the monthend you can use the COOIS and check whether any open orders are available by putting the Status selection field = DLV & CNF.

Similarly for Procurement all the GR for the open P.O tobe completed before monthend to have the Moving Avg Price correctly.
