Hi,
Could anybody tell me the reasons behind the internal numbers ,generated by system for PR,PO etc , jumping and the probable solutions.
Regards,
Pradeep Bhandari
hi
This is because number range buffering
U can check same in SNRO BANF object for PR number range
Generaly 10 is maintained as default buffer...U can remove same if u do not want number range jumping
Perpose of keeping buffer is just performance of system as while creation of PR program will not access the database for the next number. It will check it in memory which is much quicker than taking it from the database.which leads to faster performance of system

Hi,
Number ranges are based on the Document types of PR/PO.
In configuration you will assign the number ranges depending upon the document types of PR/PO/RFQ etc.
