Sending mails -checking file not found in specified folder(file sender)

Dear All,

I need to send message to the concerned persons if the file is not there in the folder , specified in my file sender channel, I think I can't go for it through Alert configuration as the alerts will be raised and mail will be sent only if there is some problem in adapter channel or integration server .

But for file not found in specific folder it wont do anything .So,please let me know how to go for this.

I haven't tried but you may try using BPM with deadline step. If the file is not received within the time (which should be more than or equal to the poll interval), then you may use send step to send the mails.

In BPM, there is something called as Deadline Monitoring.
