Is there any where we have maintained other than OB08?

Hi,

Pls. find below the details,

First you need to assign exchange rate for EUR vs INR in OB08 transaction.

Pls. refere exchange rate type as M

and maintain EUR to INR as well as INR to EUR in "M".

Pls. don't check "Exchange rate fixed" in the P.O..

Now, you can create the purcahse order and see.

Hope, it will solve your problem.

Pls. award points if found suitable.

Regards

Hi everyone,

I just want to add some comments by my experience although the thread was marked complete.

For company code currency EUR (you are doing transaction that the company code default currency is EUR), system default M     EUR     INR     01.01.1999     1     EURX, or  M       INR    EUR       01.01.1999     1     EURX   and that's fine.

So we can go to EURX type, and add additional line with from EUR to INR, at this time, system will pop up a warning message that INR is not target currency, system will not adopt it. So you have to change the currency from INR to EUR. EUR is the target currency.

This will work for your purchase order INR currency.

Cheers!

Hi Maria & Vimal,

Pls check in OBBS , against your po cur code with Euro .. where in the last column Alt ERT will be assigned with EURX .. as like blw

M EUR INR 01.01.1999 1 EURX

and now check in OB08, for EURX aaginst ur co code currecny , theere u can see

EURX will be assinged the rate as 44.17 with INR.. so when u do GR , the system will take this Eurx rate only (44.17) ...

solution: if the system wants to pick the M ex rate mean, remove the EURX in OBBS against INR combination.. then in GR it will take as per the M ex rate which u have maintained in OB08..

pls revert if u need further clarification

Hi,

I think u have created the PO first and then u make the changes in OB08.

PLs. maintain the currency conversion first and then create the PO.

Sachin
