In RSA1 ->Source System. I right-click the R/3 source system and select Activate.
After a while (like 1 min), I hit error message saying the "Result of the destination check: Timeout".
Seem like the RFC timeout, how/where we can set this Time Out? Normally how long we set for this Time Out?
Hi Lynn,
I think this problem is your RFC connections. Go to sm59 open RFC connection and check it (note: both BW and source system sides).

I reset the BW Background user and it works. Thank you.

Can give me some hints what to check?
In RSA1 ->Source System ->Right-Click the Source System and select Connection Parameter.
Then click on Connection Test button, I didn't hit any error. In the Special Tabs, I specify 30000 for the Specific Timeout.
When I right-click the Source System, select Activate, I still the Time Out error.
Please adviceu2026Thank you.
