Hi there
Using Crystal Reports 11 to access an ODBC csv data source, I am getting the following message when trying to connect:
"HY000: MicrosoftODBC Text Driver Could not find installable ISAM. Database Vendor Code: -1056"
I am unsure what this means and can't find any info relating to Crystal on the web. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.
Please re-post if this is still an issue to the Data Connectivity - Crystal Reports Forum or purchase a case and have a dedicated support engineer work with you directly

Hi,
Exactly at what stage are you getting the error. Can you try with oledb connection instead.
Did the connection work when you created it (using test connection option or you didn't get this option).

I am getting the problem when trying to refresh the data. There is no test connection option. Crystal reports asks for the datasource, this is selected, "finish" is pressed and this error occurs.
I have checked that the ODBC datasource setup is correct already, and it seems fine. The ODBC datasource points to a folder on the C:\ where the CSV datafiles and schema are placed.
