Infotype change within Payroll Control Record

Hey Professionals,

Client requirement is that certain infotypes could only be changed if the period is within Payroll Control Record. For example, payroll control record is set for a period 01.05.2018 to 31.05.2018 and user tries to change the record if IT2011 for the date 30.04.2018. System should not allow the user to change the record as it do not fall within payroll control record. Similarly, deletion of the infotypes should also be not allowed. Can I meet this requirement through standards?

Hi Sam,

For changing data just within payroll control record we have to customize table T582A by initiating field "EPAST" to value "E"

Thank you very much for positive reply. The answer is correct, but I have one more little concern. I have set a Payroll Control Record (Tr PA03) for a period 01.05.2018 to 31.05.2018. Client requirement is that user can change the entries within this period only, although EPAST is set to 'E'. However, in this case, if PDC recalculation date is set as 10.05.2018, system will not allow user to change the date before 10.05.2018. In my scenario, user should be allowed to change the date before 10.05.2018 but not before date 01.05.2018.

Hi Sam,

If you want system allow user to change the date before 10.05.2018 you have to change the value of field RURZE to space.

RURZE is "Retr.acct.PDC" feild.
