SAP BPC 10.1 Standard on S4 HANA 1709

Hello Experts,

Our client wants to implement BPC Standard 10.1 on S4 HANA 1709, which are on the same (Client) system. Is there any information/SAP note etc. available on the Data Source (Extractors) and ETL process from S4 HANA to BPC Standard 10.1?

If your client is looking to use S4H data directly with BPC standard, similar to what is done for BPC embedded through RTC, then we do not have any standard way of implementing it. Furthermore, I have not seen any official documents for it. However, I think it is possible to have a custom solution.

It makes sense that the same general implementation techniques that is used for RTC and BPC embedded can be used to bring data directly from HANA views to BW IOJBs. However, the HANA views can populate providers outside of BPC standard in real-time mode but from there they would have to be loaded to BPC standard providers, using BPC data manager packages. So at least one level of replication will remain. Such a project will be intense and challenging.
