Stop Scheduled job which has no jobs in released status

Hello

I need to stop some back ground jobs, but in Sm37 i m not able to see any jobs in released status or scheduled status to cancel these job,the job are set to run in a frequency of 2 days

please let me know

you can remove that event from the job which is triggering this .job ..

thanks for your answer it worked,one last question does event driven jobs need to be schedule by external schedulers like trivoli job scheuling or can be driven automatically by SAP

Event triggered jobs can be configured in SAP directly ,,,

Else you can use any SAP supported 3rd party tool for job scheduling

like Tivoli or any other tool

GM Praveen , one way is to delete the job

what is the status is it showing up in SM37 ?

can you change the status to scheduled ?

i am seeing only jobs in completed status and there is no option for me to change the status of the jobs.

Hi Praveen

If you are not able to see that job in released or scheduled status then that job will be an event triggered job , when you are seaching for job in sm37 you have to mention " * " in the feild " or after event: " , you can also check out tables TBTC* these are the table for background jobs
