Hello,

In the configuration guide for S4H 1610, /ERP/ECOMP is listed as the IOBJ to be used for entity field of ACDOCC. In S4H 1709, /ERP/ENTITY is used instead.

Generally speaking the pre-delivered IOBJs for RTC are implemented to consume specific data from specific pre-delivered HANA views. I think the answer may be in the HANA views that the two objects map to.

I found in SAP note 2511574 that /ERP/ENTITY replace /ERP/ECOMP.

thanks

/ERP/ENTITY I think it's new (1709). You need to check the HANA view in the back end.

/ERP/ECOMP I know because it's from 1610 version and it's connected to the RCOMP field in the RTC Entity Mapping table (RTC_ENTITY_M) just as /ERP/EPRCTR is connected to the PRCTR field in the same table.

Just as an illustration, I had, in the past, to create custom characteristics to accommodate different entity fields such as SEGMENT as well as replacing the std HANA views from the standard info objects by custom views to fit specific requirements.
