Hi,
Customer has ordered a product, its standerd weght is 100 kg and pricing is determined accordingly. But the product is manufactured for more than 100 kg or less than 100 kg say 95 kg while Delivering the product. How the pricing is determined in Delivery Document?
Thanks,
Satya
Hi satya
So as per your requirement maintain the pricing procedure at delivery level and maintain POD (proof of delivery) also. So if the weight varies then through POD you can send

Hi Satya
Normally base price of a material is determined in the Sales order and not in the delivery.
If we want to have the condition like postage cost, packing cost etc. then we create pricing procedure for Delivery and assign to the delivery type.
If your material's weight should be 100 kg, then your concerned department has to ensure the exact weight before delivering so that the price determined in the Sales order should not be wrong.
If it is not possible, then instead of weight you should set your price on the basis of quantity.
You can also, use POD(proof of delivery) system in this process, so that customer will confirm of receipt of exact weight and if there is a difference then after evaluation you have to issue a credit memo or debit memo as per the situation.

Dear Sathyanarayana,
According to my understanding you can change price in delivery. And same will be reflected in billing.
But I doubt how this will help in your issue. B'coz as Mr.Lakshmipathi said you have to deliver the same quantity that is promised in order.

Dear Satya
For me, whatever quantity the customer has ordered, you are suppose to bill only for that quantity. As per your question, you should deliver only 100 kgs and accordingly, the price has to be maintained in VK11. The customer has to be given necessary credit / debit notes, in case of difference in weight.
thanks
G. Lakshmipathi
