Once transactions are happened within B1, we cannot decrease the decimal places.

    Hi

I just tested by creating a new database without copying any field and change the price .It didn't give me any issue . I was able to change multiple times from decrease to increase and vice versa .

I test this issue in 2007 a Patch 38. I think there must be some data that is affecting . I guess if not create a new database and restore the backup into new database and see if your problem solves or not .

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

When decreasing the Decimal Places (under Administration -> General

Settings -> Display for amounts, prices, exchange rates, quantities,

percentages, and units) you might come across with an error message when

updating previous documents or when adding documents based on previous

    documents.

    Solution:

Work with Decimal Places in a consistent way

Note:In 2007 A version the user will not be allowed to reduce the

    Decimal Places only to increase
