Catalog item price tracking

Hello Experts,

We are using MDM catalogs for our SRM deployment.

Can you please advise the best possible way to track the catalog price changes?

Is there any standard report available in MDM to see old price(s) and new price of given catalog item.

If not, has anyone used some work-around to address this issue? From some other threads, addresssing same issue, I learnt that we can do it using BW. Has anyone developed such report in BI?

Hi Amit,

since you are already using the web application server for the SRM-MDM catalogue UI, you could think about activating change tracking for the price table (or fields) and install the change tracker UI in the WAS. You can then see the changes in the change tracking UI or you can read the database directly using another application, e.g. MS Access via ODBC (as I do sometimes).
