Fiscal Year minus 13 months and Fiscal Period minus 13 months.

Hello All,

I have to calculate,

Fiscal Year minus 13 months and Fiscal Period minus 13 months.

Example:

*Fiscal Year minus 13 months

Calendar date April 1, 2008 = Fiscal year 2009 and 13 months ago the fiscal year was 2007.

*Fiscal Period minus 13 months

Calendar date April 1, 2008 = Fiscal year 2009, fiscal period 01 and 13 months ago the fiscal year was 2006, fiscal period 12.

Kindly help in calculating the above.

Thanks,

Anand

I think there would be FM's for the same, jus check in.

1) Also you can do that manually, say you can divide the number of months you want to get back by 12 and then use the numeral part of it and substract the same from your current year.

In this case say 13/12 = 1.xxx so you can use the integer part. Here your result will be 2008 - 1 = 2007 Fiscal year.

2) To know the periods - You can apply the same logic if you are doing it manually.

I strongly believe there woudl be FM's for the same. Just search.

Also April 01,2008 is of Fiscal year 2008 and not 2009.

Thanks Narendra for your efforts. I'll check FMs.

Moreover I strongly believe that April 1,2008 is fiscal year 2009.

I do not have any material to validate my statement. But, I strongly remember it.

Thanks anyways for your help.
