error in minisap logon

HI,

I followed all the instruction in the post by Alonso. And the installation went on without any problems. I even installed the SAP logon and configured it as per the instructions. But when I try to login, it is giving me an error message:

Partner '127.0.0.1: sapdp00' not reached

WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused

the disp+work process in not running and it is not registered as installed service.

Plese guide me on this topic.

hiee vijay ,

There seems to be some problem in your IP Address assigned to your sap gui and the system32/drivers/etc/hosts.

check the hosts file and the ip address and host name assigned to it .

check your loopback adapter and the ipaddress and host name assigned over there .

make sure that you have the same IP on the SapGUI and on the system32/drivers/etc/hosts.
