    Hi,

    Follow the steps in sequence:

1 Bring payroll area in correction mode.

    2. Delete Payroll results for the employee.

    3. Change Joining date of the employee by running T-code PA41.

    4. Run payroll in simulation mode check results

    5. Relese Payroll area again for payroll run.

    6. Run payroll and reconcile reports.

    Regards.

    Hasnat.

    Hi,

There are Three Scenarios when you may need to change hiring date:

    1) After payroll is run - when hiring date is before actual Hiring date.

    2) After payroll is run when hiring date is after actual Hiring Date.

    3) Before the payroll is run.

    1) PA30 -- Copy actions infotype - action type - incorrect entry -- save and come out

PA 30 copy actions infotype -- action type - correct entry - now correct your entries, save

    your date is changed.

    2) PA30 - Utilities - change payroll status - delete accounted to feild, save and come out - then again utilities change entry leaving date - corrrect the hiring date - save and come out.

    3) PA30 - Utilities change entry/leaving date change your date and save.

    Regards,

    Tomesh

If posting is also done then you need to reverse the posting also through transaction pcpo and in the edit menu there is a link to reverse the document.

Then delete the payroll result of employee using the report RPUDEL20.

After this go to PA30 enter the employeenumber then click on utilities there you would find the change entry or leaving date. After this infotype 0 screen comes you followed by the infogroup just change the start date of the record and save all the records.

      Hope thiswill help you

    Hi,

You can change the join date of an employee even though payroll is run for that employee. If you haven't exited the payroll it is recommended to delete the payroll result and change the join date. Please explain in detail what is the situation of payments.

    Hi,

You can use the transaction code PA41 to change Entry Date even if the payroll has been run for the employees you dont have tp delete the payroll results...
